Auburn House Montessori School in Kenilworth, Cape Town, requires a 3-6-year Montessori Pre-primary Lead Teacher from January 2027.
The successful candidate will understand child development; have a love for teaching, be vibrant and energetic; have a sense of humour coupled with resilience and adaptability; be responsible, reliable, proactive and be able to work as part of a team.
Requirements:
- An appropriate Montessori qualification and an understanding of the Montessori Philosophy.
- BEd OR a suitable Degree and a PGCE qualification would be advantageous.
- Strong in English with a good vocabulary.
- Experience in the required teaching environment for a minimum of 5 years.
- Have a valid First Aid and Police Clearance certificate.
- Be SACE registered.
