Auburn House Montessori School in Cape Town invites a qualified candidate to apply for a Grade 4 – 7 teacher position, to start as soon as possible.
The successful candidate will understand child development; have a love for teaching, be vibrant and energetic, and have a sense of humour coupled with resilience and adaptability, and be responsible, reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team.
Requirements:
- BEd OR a suitable Degree and a PGCE qualification
- Strong in English Home Language
- An understanding of the Montessori Philosophy will be advantageous
- Experience in teaching for a minimum of 3 to 5 years across the curriculum
- Able to teach Afrikaans, Mathematics, and History
- Have a valid First Aid and Police Clearance certificate
- Be SACE registered
