Lead Montessori Directress (18 months-3 years)
Our Generation Sunningdale campus, based in Sunningdale Parklands, requires a Lead Directress for our Montessori toddler environment from 30 April 2026.
This individual must be an experienced and passionate Lead Montessori Directress to guide our Toddler Community (18 months – 3 years). This role is ideal for a dedicated Montessori professional who brings strong leadership and a deep respect for the child.
The requirements are, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and guide a well-prepared Montessori toddler environment in alignment with Montessori principles
- Observe, support, and nurture each child’s independence, concentration, and emotional development
- Prepare and maintain a calm, orderly, and developmentally appropriate classroom
- Mentor and collaborate with assistant staff, modeling best Montessori practices
- Build respectful, professional relationships with families through clear communication and partnership
- Maintain accurate records, observations, and individualised learning plans
- Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and professionalism at all times
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Montessori qualification
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience working in a Montessori environment (0-3 years)
- Proven experience in a lead role, managing a classroom and guiding support staff
- Strong understanding of child development from 18 months to 3 years
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Calm, patient, and reflective approach to working with young children
