Maria Montessori House is currently a Progressive member school. They cater for children from ages 12 months to 12 years. Only their Early Childhood Development (12 months to 6-year environments) currently hold SAMA membership and implement the SAMA curriculum. The Primary Grades 1-7 follow CAPS and while they communicate that they do apply some of the Montessori principles and practices, they apply more traditional teaching approaches in the Primary grades.
