Vacancy: Art, Playground and Aftercare Assistant (Afternoons only)
Knysna Montessori School has an afternoon position available that would suit a student teacher or a creative individual who enjoys working with children.
Position: Art, Playground and Aftercare Assistant
Hours: 11:45 – 15:15 daily, with Wednesdays until 17:00
Role Description
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, preparing and presenting engaging art activities for Foundation Phase learners under the guidance of the class teachers. Additional responsibilities include supervising learners during lunch and playground and sport periods, assisting with aftercare duties, and supporting the Surfing teacher on Wednesday afternoons.
Requirements

- Reliable, responsible and flexible
- Creative, energetic and proactive in working with children
- Experience working with children
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Current Police Clearance Certificate
- Ability to swim
