Vacancy: Reading Support Assistant (Mornings Only)
Knysna Montessori School has a mornings only position available that would ideally suit a recently retired teacher, a student studying BEd (FP), or someone with experience working with children.
Position: Reading Support Assistant – Junior School
Hours: 07:30 – 11:30, Monday to Thursday
Role Description
The successful candidate will provide reading support to Foundation Phase learners under the guidance of the class teachers, as well as assist older learners who may require additional literacy support.
Requirements
- A positive, caring, and professional attitude
- Reliable, responsible, and punctual
- Experience working with children
- English Home Language at Matric level
- BEd (student or retired teacher) is an advantage
- Current Police Clearance Certificate
